My Halloween decorations are out of the attic and waiting in boxes in the garage. Scarecrows, pumpkins, and fall foliage went out about two weeks ago. Witches, haunted houses, ghosts, etc will have to wait until this coming weekend. I think I'm going to set that stuff up on Oct. 4. Here's the thing, though...I don't do outdoor decorations for Halloween. I love Halloween...but not enough to put stuff in my yard.
Dillards and Macys have Christmas trees set up already. My mother-in-law asked me if I had made out my daughter's Christmas list yet. Holy Crap, people.

This is the world-longest-comment. I will return to see pictures soon.

Today, our teachers were excited about extra school supplies that a local church offered us - I'm talking markers and glue. I BET THEY (I mean I) WOULD FLIP for some of the perks you described.

Some thoughts: 1) Sarah Margaret Cowell (my maiden name) is a ghost from the 1800s. That's what came up when I Googled myself before. 2) I would totally work for free Post-it Notes. 3) Holy Crap. I would love it if my car could get washed while I work. Maybe that would be a good fundraiser for 5th grade camp...wash the teachers' cars while they work from 3:15-3:45. Just kidding. I'm pretty sure that would not be okay.

So, if it's yours can you bypass B&G and start using your own chemicals to get rid of pests? If I owned my school, that's what I would do. We have roaches galore!!!

Ahh...the first day of kindergarten, truly a magical time. Like all teachers, I too live for those “light bulb” moments, but the first six weeks of kindergarten reminds me of a fireworks show!
Greg you're invited to our very first story time. Just before we go home we will read a new classic titled, The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn- a perfect story to calm their nerves and spark their love of literature (and if you’re lucky you may even get a cookie to go with it!)

I’m sure we will do our share of cat herding tomorrow… but, even with 24 on my list I still can’t wait to get started!!!

You don't "offend" me. My identity is there... S. Houston. My question is why you choose to attack a man on his blog? Why not approach him face to face? Better yet- why not let it go and realize that you weren't a fit in whatever capacity your relationship is with Greg? We write these things for fun. If you don't like him and he doesn't matter to you, why do you keep coming back?
